We are looking for a reliable independent contractor to join our team to manage the installation of real estate open for inspection and auction boards and flags in the area contained by Alphington, Reservoir, Bundoora, and Yallambie. You will need to be available every Saturday. The position requires you to setup and collect over 20 Open for Inspection signs and auction day flags and boards at a few auction sites on street corners pointing towards each auction site.As a contractor you will be paid per board/auction. You will be working typically between the hours of 5.00am-7.30am to setup and around 3 hours mid to late afternoon to collect back the signage.The number of Open signs is generally fixed each week but the number of auctions varies from week to week between 0 and 3. You are responsible for collecting all auction stock from a location in Abbotsford prior to the weekend and returning the stock either on the Saturday or Sunday after it is collected back up. If you have secure storage space at home (e.g. in your garage), it may be permissible to keep Open boards at home to improve efficiency.The role is initially available for a 3-month period commencing Sat 31st January with a couple of hours training on Sat 24th January. Demonstrated excellence will see you be offered work ongoing.Eligibility & Experience You must have a current driver''s license and provide your own vehicle with comprehensive motor insurance. Your vehicle needs to be a medium to large sized car to fit all signage stock. You should have an ABN to provide your service as a contractor No specific skills are necessary, but you must enjoy working autonomously, outdoors in all weather conditions, and be an experienced driver Good knowledge of roads and routes around Banyule and surrounding suburbs is an advantage. Only candidates living in or near the service area should apply. Ability to service an occasional mid-week or Sunday auction is an advantage (during mid-week these can be setup before going to work and collected after work, if you have a daytime job) This job is ideal for those looking to supplement their current income with additional weekend work.
