Introduction:About the companyEnvirolab Group comprising Envirolab Services, MPL Laboratories and Labtec Auckland provides a broad range of laboratory testing services such as environmental chemistry, microbiology, asbestos, workplace exposure & air monitoring and product formulation and agrichemicals.We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.Description:About the RoleWe are seeking an ICT Support Officer to join our ICT team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working across different systems, and supporting people to do their jobs efficiently.You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support across multiple Envirolab locations, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day IT issues while also contributing to system improvements, upgrades and projects. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, as you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose IT solutions.Key Responsibilities:Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support across multiple Envirolab locations, including hands-on, on-site support for the Sydney office and laboratoryTroubleshoot and resolve issues relating to desktops, laptops, printers, laboratory PCs, networks, telephony and AV equipmentSupport Microsoft 365 applications and core business systems, including LIMSLog, manage and resolve service requests and incidents using the ITSM system, escalating where requiredAssist with system upgrades, rollouts and ICT project work, including testing, documentation and user supportSupport cyber security practices, endpoint protection and IT asset managementWork collaboratively with internal teams and external providers to ensure reliable, responsive ICT servicesSkills and Experiences:About YouThe ideal candidate will bring:A strong interest in ICT support and problem-solvingExcellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearlyExperience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environmentsConfidence working across multiple systems and managing competing prioritiesA proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to learnStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and documentationQualifications and experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field are desirable, along with prior experience in a support or service desk environment.Why Join Envirolab GroupAt Envirolab Group, you''ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team where your contribution genuinely makes a difference.
