We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and reliable Night Shift Forklift/Loader Operator to join our Structural Steel team based in Direk, South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, nationally recognised company and contribute to a fast-paced, supportive team environment.Responsibilities:Operating a variety of forklifts, including multi directional unitsLoad delivery vehicles in a timely, safe and efficient manner, including manual handlingVerify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and dispatch docketsEnsure the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.Maintain an organised work area and adhere to safety protocols during loading operationsCollaborate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operationsInspect all loaded items for quality assurance before departureReport any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediatelyPick goods for order fulfilmentGeneral warehouse duties as requested at timesRequirements:A strong understanding of OHS and warehouse safety requirementsPrevious experience in the steel or manufacturing industry (highly desirable)Current Forklift Licence (LF) (necessary)Gantry Crane Licence (CB) (highly desirable)Experience using scanners and inventory systemsPhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksGood communication skills verbal and writtenAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testA positive attitude, with a proactive and safety-first mindsetCompany OverviewPlease visit our company website for more information
