The Great Northern Hotel is looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our business on a full-time basis. Salary on offer is $76500-$85000 plus super, depending on experience.In this role, you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations and working with other team members in running an efficient kitchen.Our ideal candidate will:Hold a Commercial Cookery Certificate IIIHave at least five years of cooking experienceBe skilled in production, food preparation, and stock rotationHave experience in menu planning, costing, and implementationBe proficient in leading and mentoring a team of like-minded chefsBe available to work a roster that includes days, evenings, weekends, and public holidaysAdditionally, you should be able to demonstrate:The ability to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressureA sound knowledge of food safety standards and adherence to WHS requirementsJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 $85,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
