This role will manage the Woolworths Key Account to develop strategic partnerships, and execute joint business plans to deliver category leadership and achieve sales, margin, and distribution objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Business DevelopmentOwn and manage relationships with Major Grocery Customer- WoolworthsDevelop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with company objectivesNegotiate trading terms, promotional programs, and pricing strategies to maximize profitabilitySales & Financial PerformanceDeliver agreed sales targets, revenue growth, and margin objectivesMonitor account performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions where necessaryManage trade spend effectively to ensure ROI and compliance with budgets.Category & Shopper InsightsLeverage category insights and shopper data to influence range, space, and promotional decisions.Collaborate with marketing and category teams to deliver tailored activation plans.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with supply chain, finance, and field sales teams to ensure flawless execution.Support field teams with account-specific strategies and promotional calendars.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.Maintain accurate records of agreements, forecasts, and performance metricsAbout youQualifications & Experience:Minimum 4+ years in FMCG account management, preferably within grocery or independent retailProven negotiation and relationship-building skillsAble to demonstrate a track record of delivering sales growth and managing complex accountsCommercial acumen with experience in P&L management.Excellent analytical and presentation skillsAbility to travel nationally as requiredSkills: Strong technical skills in likes of Excel and other Microsoft Suite Strategic thinking and problem-solvingInfluencing and stakeholder managementResults-driven with strong execution capabilityCollaborative team player with leadership potentialWhy us?At Opella, you will enjoy doing challenging, purposeful work, empowered to develop consumer brands with passion and creativity.
