Position: Floor FinisherLocation: Brisbane QLD 4000Company: Gulley Group Pty LtdEmployment Type: Full-Time PermanentSalary Range: $75,000 - $85,000About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and reliable Floor Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, installing, sanding, polishing, and finishing various types of flooring surfaces to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Prepare flooring surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as requiredMeasure and cut flooring materials to precise specificationsInstall various types of flooring materials such as carboard, timber, laminate, vinyl, and engineered flooringMix and apply finishing products such as stains, varnishes, sealers, and coatingsOperate and maintain sanding machines and other relevant tools safely and efficientlyInspect completed work to ensure quality, uniformity, and adherence to client specificationsRemove old flooring materials and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental standardsCommunicate with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth project deliveryMaintain cleanliness and safety on worksites at all timesPerform minor repairs and touch-ups as neededFollow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriatelySand, stain and seal timber floors to achieve high quality finish if requiredSkills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Floor Finisher or similar trade.Knowledge of floor finishing techniques, materials, and safety procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.Driver''s license (preferred).Why Join Us:Competitive pay and ongoing work opportunities.Supportive team environment.Opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects.How to Apply:Please send your resume and brief cover letter to for more information.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $75,000.00 $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:Salary packagingAbility to commute/relocate:Brisbane QLD 4000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Personal care: 1 year (Preferred)Licence/Certification:Driver Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
