Our team is at the forefront of rebuilding a significant portion of our Performance product on a more adaptable domain model and a modern tech stack: , TailwindCSS, Storybook, Ruby on Rails, Temporal, Postgres, and AWS Aurora Serverless. As an L3, you''ll lead and shape the final stages of this rebuild, evolving established patterns, de-risking migrations, and ensuring we land a robust, observable, and scalable foundation. Within six months, the team will pivot to rapid product innovationthis is an opportunity to influence our technical direction and move quickly with customer impact in mind.As a Senior Software Engineer (L3) on this team, you willOwn complex systems endtoend, from discovery and solution design through rollout and measurementbalancing speed, quality, and safety.Lead technical design and architecture for features and services as we continue our shift to a distributed, eventdriven architecture (including Temporalbased workflows), making pragmatic decisions that scale.Elevate the codebase and platform by improving domain boundaries, data models, and integration points; you''ll leave things better than you found them.Uphold and raise engineering standardschampioning test strategy, observability, performance, reliability, and secure-by-default practices.Mentor and amplify other engineers, providing thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and design feedback; you help others do the best work of their careers.Partner crossfunctionally with product managers and designers to deeply understand customer problems, validate assumptions, and ship outcomesnot just output.Drive healthy operations: contribute to oncall, guide incident response and postincident learning, and build robust runbooks and guardrails.Continuously improve our ways of workingfrom CI/CD and developer experience to documentation, release practices, and cost awareness.What makes you a great fitYou''re a frontend-leaning, fullstack engineer with deep experience in providing great user experience in distributed systems, SaaS products, and largescale applications.You have hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale SaaS front ends using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies.
