In this varied role you will have the ability to drive a van from Crows Nest to Smithfield to deliver samples each evening.Reporting to the Sample Receipt Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Greet and assist clients by phone and in personProcess incoming sample deliveries into the laboratory, including the sorting and labelling of samplesRead and understand client Chain of Custody (CoC) documentation, including analytical testing requirementsAccurately enter information from the client CoC documentation into the ALS LIMS systemLiaising with clients (internal and external) regarding sample submissions and related queriesManually move samples and eskies around the laboratory utilizing provided equipment (typically around 15kg)Maintaining an excellent standard of occupational health and safetyMaintaining a clean and tidy work environmentThe full-time role also requires proficiency in driving a van (automatic).
