As a Winter Lift Operator at Woodward Park City, you''ll help deliver smooth and safe lift operations while ensuring every riderwhether it''s their first time on skis or their hundredth lapis supported with care, attention, and a friendly face. Reporting to the Lift Operations Supervisor, you''ll be the point of contact for guests at the lift, offering guidance, encouragement, and quick thinking to keep the flow moving and the experience exceptional.Responsibilities:Safety FirstOperate chairlifts and surface lifts following ANSI standards and in compliance with training protocolsMonitor and maintain a safe work environment around loading and unloading zonesStay alert and ready to always assist guestsGuest Experience:Deliver outstanding customer service with clear communication, warm energy, and a focus on guest comfortAssist guests with loading and unloading, helping those unfamiliar with the process feel confident and secureKeep the approach zones organized and flowing smoothly during busy timesTeam Collaboration:Communicate clearly and professionally with other departments and team members.Bring a team-first attitude to daily tasks and guest interactionsAdaptabilityEmbracing changing mountain conditions and adapting to new challenges as they comeBe proactive and self-directedwhether problem-solving on the fly or stepping in to help teammatesMaintenance Duties:Support lift cleanliness, snow removal, and upkeep of equipment and loading areasCoordinate with Lift Maintenance to flag and address any component issues promptlyQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderComfortable working outdoors for long periods in all weather conditionsPhysically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform labor-intensive tasksStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with guests of all agesMust be dependable and punctualA genuine enjoyment of working with people, especially children and first-time skiersSkiing or riding ability is preferred, but not required.At Woodward Park City, we don''t just move people uphill, we lift their spirits too.
