Your next Opportunity:Due to growth within our business, we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to join our friendly team in Williamstown.Your primary focus in this role will be to oversee the efficient and effective daily operations of asphalt and spray crewswhich are based at Williamstown, Lysterfield and Geelong.You will be accountable for delivering a number of key activities, successfully guiding and mentoring work groups and delivering high quality projects safely and efficiently which supports the continued growth of the business and the teams within your remit.Your day will involve:Complying with Borals OH&S policy and ensuring our Safety and Environmental standards are metResponsible for scoping out works prior to commencement and ensuring correct resourcing is in place to deliver works safely and efficientlyResponsible for managing supervisors and crewsEnsure all day-to-day operational targets are achieved including financial, volume and qualityEstablish and maintain strategic customer and supplier relationshipsWeekly Program meetingsWorking with labor hire companies to fill positions for job specific programs or rolls requiredOversee all projects and paving contracts and resources to complete worksWorking with QMR, PMs/PEs to complete requirements for each project including inductions & any other site requirementsWhat are we looking for?5+ years'' experience with knowledge of asphalt manufacturing, asphalt contracting and / or sprayed seal contracting or another relevant fieldCustomer engagement and negotiating skills at a site level including contractors, suppliers and subcontractorsPassionate Asphalt professionals looking to progress their careersStrong leadership and mentoring qualitiesWhat''s on offer?Competitive Salary PLUS TOT, OT Allowances and other benefits on offerAccess to various support networks, including the Boral Employee Assistance ProgramEmbark on a dynamic career with a leading national construction industry player, offering authentic pathways for career growth and developmentJoin a collaborative team environment within an organization dedicated to employee safety and delivering impeccable work quality for our valued customers
