The role acts as the primary gatekeeper for position descriptions, reviewing and validating them for accuracy and alignment with classification frameworks. Working closely with hiring managers and people partners, it provides advice and guidance on recruitment best practices, documentation standards, and helps streamline processes to support timely and effective recruitment practices.What we are looking forDemonstrated understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, position description development, and compliance requirements in a public sector.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, professional advice to stakeholders.Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to developing guidelines, templates, and training materials.Proficiency in HRIS, recruitment systems (Springboard desirable), and Microsoft Office Suite, with capability to generate and analyse recruitment reports.Knowledge of Victorian Government classification frameworks, recruitment policies, and compliance requirements.About the BPCThe Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria''s regulator for building and plumbing.It supports the growing Victorian community through the developments of harms-based regulation that is proactive and informed by data and intelligence.
