Your experience will help drive digital transformation and make an impact that matters.In this role, you''ll:Be a key contributor to a high performing team delivering architectural solutions to upgrade legacy systems.As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be providing technical leadership and strategic advice to key stakeholders to deliver improvements in Operational Technology Systems.You will be collaborating closely with the technical team (such as product owners and other domain architects) and a range of key stakeholders to really understand their business problems and devise appropriate solutions, supporting the business by delivering successful projects, products and services.This is a fixed term full time role up to 31 December 2026 | Hybrid flexible work practices, 2-3 days a week in office based at Redfern.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.About youYou bring deep expertise in addressing complex business challenges through the design and implementation of comprehensive end to end solutions. As a seasoned Solution Architect, you demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Design and implement OnPrem/cloud-based architectural solutions and enterprise application integrations. Demonstrated experience in enterprise integration patterns, API design, and application modernisation. Evaluate solution options and recommend the most effective approach to meet business and technical objectives. Develop solutions that comply with TfNSW Cyber Security standards and organizational technology policies. Ensure implementation of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, resilience) while maintaining strict cybersecurity compliance. Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into end-to-end solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles. Design and define current-state and target-state application architectures that support strategic business outcomes. Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, including architecture design and deployment. Strong expertise in options evaluation and decision-making for complex solution scenarios.
