The RoleWe''re hiring an HDD Project Engineer to join our Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew. This is initially a Fly-In-Fly-Out role on a 2:2 roster with the potential to become an office based role in the future. Point of hire is any major city.Responsibilities include:Prepare technical documents, designs, and drawings for drilling projects.Track and prepare progress reports.Monitor and analyse technical performance.Resolve technical issues, and provide hands-on project support.Monitor progress of activities to ensure compliance with design, engineering and quality objectives.Manage the quality processes on site to ensure that drilling operations meet technical and project quality requirements.Participate in construction-related meetings (safety, planning, weekly progress) and champion project functions.
