Be part of a high-impact, nationally significant operation in a dynamic environmentKey Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Oversee planned maintenance and repair works, including audits and optimisation of assetsProvide on-going support and leadership to the trades and maintenance teaEnsure compliance with legislative requirements and Defence contractsActively supports and participates in transformation programsEnsures work order allocation to timesheets is accurate.Oversees contractor safety frameworks including SWMS, onsite compliance to Ventia Critical Risk Protocols.Proactive contractor management of all key performance metrics within the month.Ensure contractual compliance through site assessments and initiate necessary work orders or quotesManage client requests and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and clear communicationAbout youMinimum of trade qualification (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).Trade licence highly desirable.Willingness and ability to act as a nominee supervisor.Willingness and ability to travel interstateProven experience in operational leadership within Defence or similar complex environmentsWorking knowledge of WHS legislation, WHS committees and safety culture developmentDemonstrated experience supervising subcontractors and liaising directly with clientsStrong negotiation and communication skillsProficient computer skillsintermediate level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookA valid C-class driver''s licenseMust be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police.
