Job Description Cellar Door Manager | Chapel Hill | McLaren ValeWithin an iconic 150 year old chapel, perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale, you will find the Chapel Hill Cellar Door, co-located with our beautiful winery and vineyards. The passionate team at Chapel Hill aim to produce some of the best and most memorable wines from the McLaren Vale region, through pioneering viticulture, state-of-the-art technology, empathetic winemaking and regional expression.At Chapel Hill, we seek to produce wine of purity and balance, achieved through respect for the land, the vines, nature and people.Salary: $85,000 to $90,000 + superannuation + bonusExciting opportunity in a prestigious wineryBeautiful location, with strong visitorshipThe Cellar Door Manager at Chapel Hill will be responsible for promoting our brand and business by creating exceptional customer experiences for visitors, and build ongoing customer relationships.Sound good? Read onHere is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Demonstrate and share your passion for wine and the region, and your ability to craft memorable customer experiencesActively drive sales of the Chapel Hill''s wine products in line with monthly and annual targetsManage, coach and develop the Cellar Door team to be motivated to deliver performance and service at the highest level, with a strong focus on team cultureBring key events to life, and promote and sell Wine Club membershipsHandle and develop the customer and cellar door visitor databasesManage and record all stock movementsSupport our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits, cellar door tastingsOpening and closing duties of the venueTake active responsibility with health and safety policies to implement control strategies to eliminate or minimise identified risks.Now let''s talk about you:Team management experience (including identify and hiring of talent)Wine Knowledge, and WSET level 2 or higherOffice Administration SkillsExtensive knowledge of the wine industryStrong customer focus, communication and leadership skillsStrong story telling ability, hosting guests and taking them on a journey through our brandAvailability to work weekends and public holidaysUnderstanding of Now Book It booking platform or willing to learnUnderstanding of With Wine of similar CRM platformsThe benefits are good tooAn exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels (pubs & accommodation), BWS, Dan Murphy''s and other Endeavour Group brands.
