With services supporting patients across Australia and internationally, we play a critical role in timely diagnosis and improved patient outcomes.About the RoleAs aSleep Scorer, you''ll play a vital role in supporting accurate and timely sleep diagnoses by analysing portable sleep studies and producing high-quality preliminary reports. Working on-site within a dynamic clinical environment, you''ll ensure all studies are scored in line with AASMandAustralian Sleep Associationstandards, while contributing to service quality, clinical accuracy, and workflow efficiency.You''ll collaborate closely with Sleep and Respiratory Physicians, Sleep Scientists, and global clinical teamswhile working autonomously and managing your own workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesScoring sleep studies (PSG) in line with AASM/ASA guidelinesIdentifying sleep stages, respiratory events, arousals, limb movements, and cardiac abnormalitiesProducing clear, accurate preliminary reports for clinician reviewEscalating complex or unclear findings to senior cliniciansMeeting agreed turnaround times and workflow targetsParticipating in inter-scorer reliability and calibration activitiesMaintaining strict patient confidentiality and data security standardsUsing scoring software efficiently and following established protocolsContributing to continuous improvement of scoring processesAbout YouMust-havesStrong understanding of sleep physiology and AASM scoring rulesProven accuracy, consistency, and attention to detailExperience scoring PSG studies independentlyAbility to interpret complex respiratory, neurological, and cardiac signalsExcellent written communication for structured clinical reportingStrong time management and ability to meet deadlinesComfortable working autonomously in a remote environmentNice-to-havesExperience across multiple scoring platforms (e.g. Compumedics, Alice, Nox, ApneaLink, G3)Previous experience working in a high-volume or distributed clinical serviceBackground collaborating with global or multidisciplinary clinical teamsWhy work with CardioScan?Be part of a mission-driven, global healthcare organisationWork remotely while contributing to life-changing clinical outcomesJoin a collaborative, high-performing clinical teamOperate within a quality-focused environment with strong clinical governanceGrow your expertise across diverse studies and service modelsCardioScan is an equal opportunity employer committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
