In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality personal care and clinical services to our residents, ensuring their individual needs are met.You will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of care, maintaining clinical standards, and fostering a supportive and respectful environment for residents and staff. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older Australians.Your key responsibilities will be to:Provide guidance and clinical support to care staff in implementation of infection control procedures and monitor and report to the Director of care on the progressWork along with the Director of Care in identifying any risks and provide suggestions regarding delivery and servicesMaintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with the regulatory standardsCoordinate and support resident''s case conferences and specialist appointmentAssist in managing hospital transfers and post hospital careOversee safe and efficient medication administration in partnership with pharmacy providersContribute to resident admissions planning and waiting list managementAssist visiting doctors who attend the facility to conduct care recipient consultations.Requirements for SuccessCurrently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)Computer literate with strong communication and documentation skillsAt least 12 months'' experience working in Aged Care as a Registered NurseExperienced dealing with challenging behavioursMental Health background (desirable)Flu and Covid Booster vaccination mandatoryNDIS Workers Screen clearance (or the willingness to obtain one)Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks.
