Job Description

Overview:Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Coordinator (Permanent PartTime) to join our People Partner team. This role supports the Payroll Specialist and is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across the Oceania region, including fortnightly and monthly pay cycles for Australia and New Zealand.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesProcess salaries and entitlements including allowances, deductions, onboarding and termination payments.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including superannuation, insurance, tax filings, and wage garnishments.Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records and act as system administrator for payroll and time & attendance systems.Provide advice on salaries, leave, and conditions of service.Liaise with external auditors and support payroll-related projects.Reconcile payroll records for Finance and external entities (e.g., ATO).Deliver administrative HR support including onboarding/offboarding coordination and HR data management in Workday.Job RequirementsWhat We''re Looking For34 years'' experience in payroll.Strong attention to detail and ethical standards.Excellent communication and consulting skills.Experience with Payroll Metrics, Kronos, and Workday (preferred).Advanced Excel skills.A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and initiative.About UsWallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
