Guided by our value of Safely Always, we are one team dedicated to ensuring everyone gets home safely while helping to connect and create a better Melbourne.About the roleAs the Works Assistant in the Infrastructure Signals team, you will support in the delivery of maintenance and renewals, assist with reactive maintenance needs, system alterations/upgrades and new works.This position is based at our Dandenong Depot.Key responsibilitiesAssist with installing, repairing, and modifying infrastructure assets.Perform manual labour using hand and mechanical tools for maintenance and upgrades.Operate vehicles, equipment, and assist with larger machinery as needed.Support safety procedures, inspections, and update systems with asset condition data.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas, while managing hazards and following safety regulationsAbout youExperience working in a similar rail labouring position3.1 TFPC qualification preferredCurrent and Valid Victorian Drivers LicenceExperience using an iPad to monitor and update work schedulesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSound knowledge of safety and safe working requirementsInterested?If this role aligns with your experience and career goals, we''d love to hear from you.
