A salary of $134,288 plus super plus salary packagingA Senior Leadership role guiding, supporting and leadingDevelop and strengthen your team to best support young peopleYour role: Overseeing multiple residential homes across the Loddon region you are required to provide oversight of Residential Care providing day to day support & supervision for House Coordinators and Residential staff.Provide leadership, support and supervision to residential care staff and play a lead role in the creation of a culture that promotes healing from the range of traumatic experiences of the young people.The skills you will use day to day:Completing Case ReviewsOversight of rosters and timesheetsOverseeing culture and staff wellbeingManaging finance and budgets for residential homesBuilding rapport with external stakeholdersPlacement planningImplementation of safety planningA high level knowledge of adolescent and child development and the theories relating to Trauma and Attachment as the aftermath of abuse and neglectHighly developed skills in managing the challenging and confronting behaviours that arise from this; in a calm and consistent manner and modelling this to staffStrong understanding of therapeutic support and crisis intervention.The ability to provide strong leadership, direction and coaching to residential care staff.QualificationsTo be considered for this role you must hold:Tertiary Qualification at diploma or degree level in social work, psychology or behavioural science or equivalent.OrA relevant tertiary qualification which is recognized under the Residential Care Workforce Training Initiative, and a willingness to undertake top up training to meet the qualification requirements of the Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care).Current First Aid Certificate.Victorian Drivers LicenseWhat makes this such a great role for you:You get a salary of $134,288 plus super.Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.SCHCADS award level 8.3.Full time permanent.You will be required to support the team after hours on occasion outside of the standard 9am-5pm.Ready to take the next step:Could you please apply for the role before midnight on Sunday 8th February.For a Detailed Position Description please take a look here:Senior Team Leader - Residential Services (inclusive KEYS) PD RESI TL AW8 To apply for this position all you need to do is click apply wherever you are and attach a resume and a brief cover letter that describes your motivation to apply.To find out more or ask questions then please reach out to Tim McCormick
