The impact you''ll make Ensures legal compliance and provides import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions. Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment. Selects carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders. What you''ll do Foreign Trade Analyst will closely work with Global Logistics/FT team responsible for effective solutions and to ensure commercial and trade compliance with relevant customs tax and related trade regulations. The individual will be the Korea region''s Subject Matter Expert for diverse business groups, including supply chain, logistics and Sales Operations. At the same time, the individual will work with cross-functional teams to drive program improvements. At the same time, the individual will need to optimize logistics efficiencies globally whilst emphasizing operational compliance. The role requires the incumbent to interact with both internal and external partners at all levels.Job Responsibilities Monitor and communicate updates to trade compliance regulations and implementation of these legal requirements. Determine product import and export classifications including HTS, ECCN/ECN, Dual Use (US and EU). Manage KORUS FTA and other FTA programs. Maintain part databases with global trade compliance data/content including product classifications, GTS related data elements, FTA data. Conduct internal compliance reviews and import/export audits.Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures related to CP program for strategic goods export control Responsible for valuations, duty mitigations, Inco terms, legal entities, tax and duty impacts Provide oversight to the Korea tax and duty mitigations with internal Legal, Tax, Foreign Trade and Finance stakeholders Responsible for overseeing of non-standard shipping needs for engineering, drop shipment, repairs and return, upgrades in accordance to customer needs Ensuring accuracy of shipping documents and commercial invoice outputs Oversight of the import and export SOPs and Korea brokerage management Establishing all necessary customs reporting for LRK operations Who we''re looking forMinimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor''s degree or related field;Experience in trade operations and import & export managemnet /data analysisEnglish proficiency requiredAbility to interact with multiple levels and functions within the organizationAbility to support multiple porjects and participate in special projects as requiredWork location: Lam Research Manufacturing Korea Osan site Our commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
