Selects carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders. What you''ll do Foreign Trade Analyst will closely work with Global Logistics/FT team responsible for effective solutions and to ensure commercial and trade compliance with relevant customs tax and related trade regulations. The individual will be the Korea region''s Subject Matter Expert for diverse business groups, including supply chain, logistics and Sales Operations. At the same time, the individual will work with cross-functional teams to drive program improvements. At the same time, the individual will need to optimize logistics efficiencies globally whilst emphasizing operational compliance. The role requires the incumbent to interact with both internal and external partners at all levels.Job Responsibilities Monitor and communicate updates to trade compliance regulations and implementation of these legal requirements. Determine product import and export classifications including HTS, ECCN/ECN, Dual Use (US and EU). Manage KORUS FTA and other FTA programs. Maintain part databases with global trade compliance data/content including product classifications, GTS related data elements, FTA data.
