The main areas you will be responsible for are:Completing all maintenance and works programs for our client to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfacesLeading, motivating and inspiring a team to deliver work to the highest possible standards at all times whilst championing their development and well-beingMonitoring turf health - proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practicesCollaborating seamlessly with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional resultsCommunicating effectively with the client to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide expert turf care recommendationsAbout YouWith a qualification in Sports Turf Management and recent experience working at a busy golf course, you are ready to lead a high performing team and exceed the expectations of the client. You are confident in your abilities to build and maintain excellent relationships with your clients.Your knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements has been well honed through hands-on experience and you are confident implementing sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and innovative pest management techniques.You have a current driver''s licence and white card. You know that the operations of a golf course is a seven day a week concern and that some weekend work will be required.You are very familiar with safely operating and maintaining turf care equipment and machinery to achieve optimal outcomes for your site.
