This critical community hub provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where people can access essential services, receive practical assistance, and foster meaningful pathways towards brighter and more stable futures. Your ResponsibilityBe the Heart of the Community: As a compassionate first point of contact, you''ll provide warm, empathetic support for clients, helping them feel safe and heard.Support and Assess: Facilitate the entry and assessment process for new clients and assist with the daily operations of the site to ensure everything runs smoothly.Collaborate with Case Managers: Work closely with case managers to deliver personalised, holistic support plans that are tailored to each client''s unique circumstances.Empower and Advocate: Engage clients in activities, help guide them through services, and advocate for their needs with external agencies to ensure they receive the support they deserve. You Will NeedA heart for service, a calm demeanor, and the ability to offer non-judgmental, ethical support.Excellent communication skills and a desire to work within a collaborative team setting.Experience or qualifications in social services, with a focus on homelessness, mental health, or community work (Cert IV preferred or in progress).First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
