Role PurposeAs a Structural Landscaper, you will support the delivery of high-quality landscaping projects that align with Byron Bay Ranga''s Vision and Values. You will be responsible for carrying out both hard and soft landscaping tasks, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.This role is hands-on and suited to someone with strong landscaping skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors in a team environment.Key ObjectivesComplete structural and soft landscaping tasks to a professional standardSupport the successful delivery of project milestonesEnsure compliance with safety standards and site proceduresContribute to a positive team environment and client satisfactionKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out hard landscaping tasks such as paving, decking, retaining walls, concreting, and structural timber workAssist with soft landscaping including planting, turf laying, mulching, soil preparation, and irrigation installationRead and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scopes of workOperate hand tools and machinery relevant to the landscaping tradeLoad, unload, and move materials around the site efficientlyMaintain cleanliness and organisation of work areasSite Support & ComplianceFollow site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all timesConduct tasks in line with WHS standards and company policiesReport hazards, incidents, or near-misses to the Team Leader immediatelyEnsure correct use and maintenance of tools and machineryAssist with setup and pack-down of job sites dailyEnvironmental AwarenessFollow sustainable practices in all landscaping worksAssist in assessing environmental impacts on-site where requiredWork with natural ecosystems and contribute to biodiversity efforts where applicableKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely and accurate completion of assigned tasksQuality of workmanship across landscaping projectsCompliance with safety and operational proceduresPositive contribution to team and client experienceQualifications & ExperienceEssential:23 years of experience in landscaping, including both hard and soft landscapingCertificate III in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or equivalentStrong understanding of tools, equipment, and machinery used in landscapingHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to interpret landscaping plans and execute accordinglyFull Driver''s LicenceWhite CardKnowledge of WHS practices and safe site conductStrong physical fitness and willingness to work in varied weather conditionsDesirable:Experience operating machinery such as excavators, with relevant licencesFamiliarity with native plants, local ecosystems, and water-sensitive landscapingBasic First Aid knowledgeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00 $80,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Byron Bay NSW 2481: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Application Question(s):Do you have unlimited Work Rights in Australia?Licence/Certification:Driver''s License (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
