This position encompasses working within a dedicated team to provide safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, demonstrating commitment to quality patient care and providing support to the nursing staff within the perioperative environment.Your duties in this role will include:Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatreProvide safe effective patient handling and positioning.Setting up of theatresMaintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during proceduresProviding support to the nursing staffSkills and ExperienceTheatre Orderly experience within the Health Care Industry - (Desirable)Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skillsAbility to work effective within a team environment and independentlyAvailability for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating rosterA strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital proceduresMotivated and positive with a high level of attention to detailStrong understanding of manual handling and infection control proceduresWhat''s in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
