Now, we''re looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive operational excellence across Australia and New Zealand.As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial and statutory reporting for the Australia and New Zealand region, ensuring our results are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You''ll manage audit and tax compliance, strengthen internal controls, and empower a highperforming team to drive continuous improvement and process efficiencies.This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys both technical depth and leadership, while partnering across multiple levels of the organisation. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will: Financial & Statutory ReportingLead monthly financial reporting for in Oracle/SAP and HFMEnsure data integrity through timely balance sheet reconciliationsManage statutory reporting for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRSLead interactions with internal (IAD, Operations Review) and external auditors (KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte)Support group tax compliance: income tax, transfer pricing, FBT, GST, payroll tax, insurance, and Emerson ITQ requirementsEnsure timely and accurate lodgement of all tax returns and statutory filingsInternal Controls & Risk ManagementLead the ANZ internal control questionnaire and internal control reviewsPartner with process owners to enhance controls and automate workflowsProvide internal control guidance and training across functionsTeam Leadership & CollaborationLead and mentor a team of 3 finance professionalsFoster a collaborative, highperformance finance cultureChampion continuous improvement, process automation, and operational excellence Who You Are:You are a proactive and detaildriven finance leader who takes ownership of outcomes, builds trust through integrity and clear communication, and guides your team with confidence and clarity. For This Role, You Will Need:Degree in Accounting or related disciplineCA/CPA qualification (Chartered Accountant strongly preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in related financial roleProven experience with internal/external reporting frameworks (US GAAP and AIFRS)Strong leadership capability and experience developing teamsAdvanced Excel skills; SAP/Oracle/HFM experience highly regardedHigh attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levelsHigh ethical and professional standards Our Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
