We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:Our Maternity Services has recently undergone new redevelopment with the completion of new purpose-built luxurious birthing suites, post-natal ward and a new refurbished Special Care nursery coming soon later in 2025.We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwives to join our Resource Unit with shifts available in Birth Suite and our Post Natal wards.There are a variety of shifts available during the week and weekend to choose from, the choice is yoursKey Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:Deliver exceptional patient experience to women, their partners/families and their babies to have a positive pregnancy, birth and postnatal experienceProvide a high standard of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groupsPlan, assess, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their partners/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomesRole-modelling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.WHY WORK FOR SVPHM:You will join a high performing team and a workplace with relationships built on mutual trust and respect.
