If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.Role Overview:As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and compliance. This dynamic role requires initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.Shifts range from 6am till 8pm Monday to Sunday. We are looking for 3-5 days per week for approx. 15-30hrs per week depending on staff availabilities.What You''ll Do (key responsibilities)This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Handle financial management and cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and suppliers.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.Uphold high customer service standards, delivering a memorable experience for every guest.Maintain flexible availability, including weekends and peak periods.What You''ll BringTo excel in this role, you will need:A proven track record in food and beverage service, preferably in high-volume settingsAt least 1 year working as a barista would be preferable.Proven ability to maintain high standards in a cafe or hospitality environment.Excellent interpersonal abilities and a passion for providing exceptional customer serviceThorough knowledge of food safety regulations and practicesThe ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.Strong multi-tasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.A team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellence.More than anything, you''ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.**Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete work rights check and reference checks.Why Downer?At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
