Our mission is to fuel the financial industry''s growth by providing unparalleled knowledge and expertise.About The Role:As a Graduate Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality managed funds product research to financial advisers and subscribers working alongside experienced Investment Analysts and Senior Investment Analysts. Over time, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of asset classes, including Australian and Global Equities, Fixed Income, Property, Infrastructure, Alternatives, and Multi Asset portfolios.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive analysisacross various asset classes (including Australian Equities, Global Equities, Fixed Interest, Cash and Alternatives)Facilitate the coverage initiation of new funds and maintain ongoing coverage of products.Develop technical knowledge of products across asset classes, Lonsec processes and house views.Assist in report writing and meeting preparation, involving the synthesis of written information and evaluation of product merits.About You:An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline e.g. BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSc1 + years of experience within a research house, financial advisory firm, fund manager, or similar, with a strong focus on financial analysis and market knowledge.Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to distil financial information efficiently and convey it clearly and concisely.A demonstrable interest in finance and investmentProficient quantitative skills for data manipulation and analysis.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasksDemonstrable understanding of investments, equities, and ETFs, or a keen interest to acquire such knowledge.Communication skills that allow you to ask probing questions with confidence and clarityAbility to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, while also taking ownership of your own objectivesA positive attitude and a passion for learningWhat we offerOngoing flexible working arrangementsFamily friendly work-life balancePaid parental leaveVolunteer and Study leaveGenuinely open and supportive culture with an approachable executive teamOngoing training and professional developmentWellness program (including an annual wellness reimbursement for all staff to put towards health and wellness-related activities)Social eventsIf you''re a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about investing, we want to hear from youLonsec is an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
