In this role, you will provide breakdown and maintenance support for the spectacle lens Cut, Edge, and Fit network; support operations with the implementation of new technologies with involvement in process improvement initiatives; manage special projects and coordinate facility service, repair, and compliance activities. We are seeking a candidate with an electrical licence with a strong mechanical aptitude who can confidently troubleshoot, maintain, and support technical equipment across multiple sites.Key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):Provide technical and breakdown support for ANZ operational sites, ensuring timely recovery of CNC plant and various equipment.Provide service and support for the CNC shaping machine networkManage or Repair of all plant and equipment within the ANZ operational network.Attend site callouts as required to meet operational and plant recovery demands.Execute preventive maintenance schedules for major plant assets across the ANZ Vision Care footprint.Develop strong relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and contractors.Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding follow-up actions related to maintenance activities.Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation in compliance with ANZ legislative requirements.Liaise with local and international equipment suppliers to secure support for plant recovery and performance improvements.Provide breakdown support and repairs for frame tracers, both internally and for customer tracers.Collaborate with the Maintenance and Facilities Manager to deliver facility support across the ANZ Vision Care network.Providing hands-on support for plant operations and Building Management System (BMS) software including air compressors, dust extraction and water DI plant.Arrange or act as the point of contact for contractors performing facility-related tasks or recovery work.Key skills required for this role include:Current SA Unrestricted Electrical LicenseWorking knowledge of AS3000Familiar with Windows, excel, word etcProven experience in plant and equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or technical environment.Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and compliance standards.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical mechanical/electrical issues efficiently.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Familiarity with ANZ legislative requirements for maintenance and facility operations.Willingness to travel and attend site callouts as required.What''s great about working at ZEISSDiscounted ZEISS products including ZEISS lensesEmployee discount and benefits programNew office location, close to public transport and onsite parkingSupportive, family friendly working environmentFoundation owned organisationWork at ZEISS and leave your mark in this world.
