The General Practice and Nurse Led Specialty Service operates as a team within Primary Care and is responsible for delivering high quality medical and nursing services across the outer east region of Melbourne.We are a multidisciplinary team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Bicultural Workers, and allied health professionals working collaboratively and alongside the Refugee Health Program. We are a recognised Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub for the Department of Human Services as well as one of the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain clinics in Victoria, delivering services such as:Long Acting Reversible Contraception (IUD, Implanon)Cervical screeningPregnancy and fertility careMaternity shared careMenstrual health careMenopause CarePelvic Pain managementMedical Termination of PregnancyImmunisationPrEPBlood Borne Virus and Sexually Transmitted Infection checksYour role, your impactAs aGeneral Practitioner, you have the power to change livesnot just through medical expertise, but throughcompassion, advocacy, and courage.
