The opportunity to take charge of your career, starting with this role.HVO is laying the foundation for the future by investing in equipment, technology and our people so we consistently achieve our goals and contribute positively to the environment and the community.So, we are seeking a confident and enthusiastic person who share our values Think Sharp, Dig In and Care - to join our high performing team.Glencore is committed to providing an environment that adheres to the Respect at Work Legislation.Job DescriptionReporting to the Environment & Community Manager, you will be responsible for providing continuous technical advice and operational support relating to environmental management and community relations.About the RoleMining tenement obligation compliance including applications and renewals; reporting; payments and spatial data management.Liaison and coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including government, landholders, and the community.Maintain and implement land access agreements, including access agreement requirements for exploration and study teams accessing land under HVO managed exploration licences and assessment leasesMaintain awareness of all land and tenement statutory and policy requirements for mining projectsCoordination of HVO Ground Disturbance Permit system.Support the implementation of HVO environmental management programs and plans as contained in the EMSAssist with assurance programs (internal and external) including undertaking environmental inspections to verify controls.Roster and LocationMonday to Friday professional rosterBased on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)About YouDemonstrated experience in a similar roleRelevant tertiary qualificationsHigh level of interpersonal, communication and influencing skillsPrevious leadership experience and strong ability to lead diverse teams effectivelyKnowledge of relevant legislative requirementsExceptional attitude towards safety and ability to drive a high performing safety cultureHigh level computer literacy skills including ArcGISWorking for us isn''t like working at any old mine.
