With a vision to be the World''s Top Restaurant Operator, we operate KFC and Taco Bell restaurants in Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.We''re Hiring: Assistant Maintenance ManagerThis role plays a key part in coordinating technicians, contractors, and schedulers while driving safety, cost control, and proactive maintenance outcomes across the business.Working in Brisbane alongside the Maintenance Manager, you will help ensure assets are maintained to a high standard, compliance requirements are met, and maintenance activities are delivered efficiently and safely.Who are youHave you completed your time on the tools? Are you ready for a change and looking to step up to your next challenge in your careerWhat You''ll be DoingSupport the leadership of both outsourced and in-house technicians and assist the scheduler with daily coordinationDrive proactive maintenance practices (target >70%) to reduce breakdowns and reactive repairsMonitor maintenance costs and support achievement of annual budget targets, including reporting variancesEnsure compliance with the Collins Foods Safety Management System across all maintenance activitiesAssist with investigations using modern Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods and review repetitive failuresSupport training of employees in RCA and maintenance best practicesOversee contractor performance, ensuring all contractors are inducted, compliant, and meeting standardsMaintain workflow processes for MEX P1P5 work requests, ensuring timely updates and close-outAssist with preventative maintenance programs for restaurant equipment, HVAC, and electrical safety systemsSupport regulatory compliance, including pressure systems and statutory requirementsContribute to the equipment capital replacement program and participate in project works as requiredPrepare and assist in distributing monthly maintenance reports to stakeholdersFacilitate effective communication between operations and maintenance teamsProvide operational cover for other team members when requiredKey Performance IndicatorsMaintain an effective contractor management system100% of active maintenance contractors inducted and compliant (no more than 2 weeks overdue)Priority 14 work orders delivered within agreed SLAsEffective backlog management and adherence to reactive maintenance processesMaintenance costs maintained below 1.5% of sales or within budget (whichever is greater)Safety at Collins FoodsAt Collins Foods, the health and safety of our people and customers is our highest priority.
