Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudy technical drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, methods, and sequences of operations, including machine settings.Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble metal parts and subassemblies to reinforcement cages and panels.Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments.Set guides, stops, and other controls on jigs to ensure production consistency.Form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore, and drill metal.Erect products at the factory for assembly checks and quality assurance as required.Required Skills and ExperienceQualifications: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in fitting and welding.Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering and/ordrawings and using precision measuring tools.English: Must have a high level of English proficiency to follow safety protocols and technical instructions.Applications Close on 30 Mar 2026
