As our Insurance Compliance Team Lead, youll lead a small, committed team while helping RACQ Insurance navigate the IAG integration. This is a hands-on role where youll provide practical compliance advice, coach others and work closely with leaders across the business. If you enjoy solving problems, lifting capability and influencing outcomes, this is a chance to shape the way we operate.This is a secondment of up to 24 months, based in Meanjin (Brisbane).What Youll DoLead and coach a team of Principal Compliance Advisors while delivering key team priorities Provide first line compliance advice and help business stakeholders navigate obligations and controls Liaise with key IAG contacts to coordinate RACQs regulatory responses and ensure high quality, timely submissions Monitor regulatory changes and work with leaders to assess impacts and recommend actions Oversee compliance plans, root cause analysis and assurance activities to strengthen our control environment Support the integration of IAG policies, systems and processes Use insights and data to improve how we manage compliance and operational riskWhat Youll BringExperience in compliance, risk, audit or governance roles within financial services or insurance Confidence providing practical, hands on compliance advice and supporting decision making Leadership experience with the ability to coach others and guide a team through change Strong judgement, with the courage to ask questions, challenge respectfully and speak up Ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and work together to solve problems Curiosity and analytical strength to dig into issues and uncover insights Comfort working in a fast paced environment with shifting prioritiesWhat We OfferBoosted superannuation with 13% as standard. 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for whats important to you).
