Vasion is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in the APAC region. With our expanding global presence, we are looking for a skilled engineer to support our customers across the Asia-Pacific market.This is primarily a remote position based in Australia, preferably in the Sydney or Melbourne region.Role PurposeEnable customer outcomes and predictable revenue by leading technical discovery, delivering compelling demos, and validating Vasion solutions through time-boxed POCs that de-risk opportunities and prepare customers and partners for successful implementation.What Success Looks LikeEffective discovery that surfaces objectives, constraints, risks, and success criteriaTailored demos that clearly connect Vasion capabilities to prospect needs and valuePredictable POC outcomes with clear exit criteria that accelerate deal cyclesPartner and AE enablement that optimizes sales outcomesEarly identification and mitigation of technical riskHigh-quality technical handoffs to Services and CSCore ResponsibilitiesDiscovery and Value MappingLead technical discovery with admins, security, networking, and line-of-business stakeholdersShape and map requirements to Vasion capabilities and integrations; document value hypothesesDemonstrations and POV/POCBuild and deliver tailored demos and sandbox environmentsDesign and run time-boxed POCs with measurable success criteria and exit gatesTechnical Leadership in the DealAssert best practicesAddress security, compliance, performance, and scalability questionsProvide installation approaches and SOW inputs in partnership with ServicesProvide technical foresight to identify and mitigate potential blockers in the POCCompetitive Positioning and EnablementArticulate differentiators and trade-offs versus alternativesEquip AEs and partners with reusable assets, reference demos, and decision guidesField Feedback and ReadinessCapture insights from evaluations to inform product roadmap and packagingContribute repeatable assets back to our libraryRequirementsPresales Excellence: Discovery, objection handling, storytelling, demonstrations, executive communicationArchitecture Literacy: Understanding of common software patterns (MSA, EDA) and diagram types (DFDs, sequence)Networking/Information Systems: Troubleshooting Security and Compliance LiteracyDomain Knowledge: Print, Workflow, and Output Automation across modern cloud stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP)Qualifications3-5+ years in presales engineering or solution engineering for SaaS or enterprise softwareProven track record running successful POCs and technical evaluationsComfortable engaging from IT admin to Director; strong writing and presentation skillsStrong IT expertise with hands-on experience in system administration, cloud services, or infrastructure managementProficiency in common operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, and AndroidEnglish language proficiency requiredBonus: Experience with complex integrations and partner-led delivery;
