You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused teamBased locally, you will work within a permanent 4 on 4 off rotational roster consisting of 12-hour shifts of days and nights. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring only authorised vehicles and personnel enter site.Duties include, but are not limited to:Site access control and traffic managementConduct mobile/foot patrols andvehicle/bag security inspectionsPerform drug and alcohol testingOrganise security passes, issue/sign keys in & out and lock/unlock buildingsProvide customer service, monitor radio communications, and driver behavioursProvide emergency responseto incidents on sitePrepare and submit accurate and timely electronic logs and reportsSkills & ExperienceQLD drivers'' licenceQLD Security Licence unarmed security officer as a minimumSecurity Licence is funded by MSS Security where a return of service agreement is enteredCurrent First Aid and CPRCertificateWilling to or hold a Certification to Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing certification (HLTPAT005) - MSS will pay for successful candidates for this courseAvailable to work a rotational roster consisting of day, nights and weekendsIntermediate level in Microsoft Office applicationsIf you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
