We are on the hunt for a Field Service Fitters to join our award-winning team in Brisbane, supporting our customer''s fleets of Caterpillar equipment.Ideally you will possess considerable experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining CAT machinery.This is a Permanent, Full-time role working Monday to Friday:As a Field Service Fitter, you will:Provide maximum satisfaction to our customers by ensuring all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest possible standardResearch and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specificationsTake all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished productEnsure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework jobs do not occurEnsure all assigned tasks are completed within required target timesEnsure that the customer is part of the decision process on large dollar value item repair or replacement and is kept informed of all matters in relations to the job, including job progressSupport the sale of genuine parts, and when requested, give guidance and advice to the customer on supply of genuine partsWhy Hastings Deering?At Hastings Deering our people are our heartit''s as simple as that.
