Job Description Join TOMRA as a Preventative Maintenance Trade Assistant and help our Field Service team keep our Reverse Vending Machines performing at their best.You will travel to our Truganina warehouse each day to collect your fully equipped vehicle and hit the road to performpreventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades on our Reverse Vending Machines and equipment out in the field across Western Victoria and Tasmania. (Regular travel within VIC/TAS is part of the role, and we''ll give reasonable notice before trips.)As part of the background process you will provide a driver history record, federal police check and attend a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.Some of the duties you may perform include (But not limited to)Carrying out scheduled maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime of RVM installations.Maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance, managing planned repairs and unplanned breakdowns effectively while ensuring a best practice approach.Carrying out regular machine upgrades as required.Diagnosing and troubleshooting fundamental issues with TOMRA machinery that may be mechanical or electrical in nature.Responding to occasional work orders as and when needed.Reporting on service assignments and faults.Driving for long periods as required and attending to some occasional callouts outside your area.Providing excellent customer service to our partners and to members of the public.Ensure you take reasonable care that your actions or inactions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others, and observing all company safety policies and proceduresEnsure all incidents and hazards at work are reported accurately and in a timely manner.Follow TOMRA SAFE Standards and Guidelines.Comply with lawful instructions provided by your Manager or Supervisor.Performing test & tag on equipment (training can be supported)Inventory management of stock items and parts replenishment of consumables and componentsAdministration and accurate reporting of maintenance activities using company softwareAdhering to a set maintenance program and schedule to ensure comprehensive coverage of the networkUndertake cleaning of equipment and installations.
