Job Description What does aLeading Hand-OperationsatWarakirriCropping do?Coordinate machinery activities in the paddock, including resupply, refueling, andlogisticsbetween properties.Operate farm machinery for various tasks, including but not limited to spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, cartage, andharvest.Train and mentornew staffmembers on machinery operations, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and quality.Coordinate with external parties, such as contractors and delivery drivers.Maximize the efficiency of machinery operations, especially when multiple machines are working together, such as multiple seeding rigs or spreaders.Work with the newest equipment and innovative technology atWarakirriCropping, whileobservingand monitoring crop health and progress.Assist in the testing and recording of grain quality, as well as ensuring the safe storage and handling of grain during and after harvest.Responsible for someAgworlddata entre and ensuring all operation record sheets aresubmittedon time forend of monthprocess.Foster a learning environment atWarakirriCropping, where staff are encouraged to ask questions and learn new things, with a strong focus on staff development. Qualifications Do yourecogniseyourself in the following statements?You bringbroadacrecropping experienceas a Senior Farm Hand/Senior Machinery Operator or Leading Hand.Class MC Driver''s License (preferred but not essential).You have a sound knowledge of growing dryland winter crops.You have experience in the operation of large-scale croppingplantand equipment.A willingness to learn, adopt new practices, and further develop personal skills while working in a team environment is what others pride you on.Your skill to mentor and coach others is one of your strengths, and you havedemonstratedthis previously.You havea high levelof initiative and self-motivation.Current chemical users'' certificateor you are open to obtaining one via us.
