We currently have an opportunity for aMaintenanceEngineer to join ourMaintenance &ITSbusinessinMurray Bridge or Walkley Heights.The position would be well-suited to someone with 1-3 years'' experience in the Roads industry, ideally with exposure toworking onroadmaintenance projects.Key responsibilitiesProvide technical and operational support to ensuremaintenanceworks meet safety, quality, and asset performance standards.Developaccuratescopes, work programs, and cost estimates for maintenance and minor capital works.Conduct site inspections,validaterepairs, andanalyseasset performance data to inform strategies.Collaborate with internal teams and clients tooptimisedelivery and resolve technical issues.Identifyand implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce rework.Availability to work away whenrequiredWhatyou''llbringDegree in Civil engineering(or related discipline).23 years'' experience in maintenance engineering or asset management, ideally in road or civil infrastructure.A well-developed understanding of planning,executionand financial reporting of projects.Able to express, engage and influence outcomes throughhigh levelsof communication and teamwork.Able to interpret technical standards and apply to achieve required operational outcomes.Commitment to quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time.Strong safety focus - activelyparticipatein and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies.Downer is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
