The role also leads the forecasting and budgeting of capital works, providing financial insights and business partnering support to enable informed decision-making and sustainable asset management. As the Finance Business Partner Capital Works, youll be at the heart of financial governance for our capital programensuring every dollar is accounted for and every decision is backed by reliable insights. Your focus will be on maintaining Councils financial asset register with precision and compliance, leading related end-of-month processes, and partnering with the Infrastructure team to ensure valuations meet Accounting Standards. Youll play a key role in capital forecasting and budgeting, helping shape sustainable financial strategies that align with Councils longterm priorities. Beyond the numbers, youll build strong relationships across the organisationproviding tailored financial advice, delivering training, and improving capital reporting.
