With revenues exceeding $135 million, UnitingSA is in a period of purposeful growth and innovation, expanding its service footprint and leading major housing developments.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer as a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a complex, multi-disciplinary portfolio spanning Mental Health, Child, Youth and Families, Home and Financial Stability, Disability Pathways and Alliance programs. With strong foundations already in place, including an engaged workforce and a stable and a high-performing executive and senior leadership team, this role presents an opportunity to build, embed and elevate the organisation through its next phase of growth. You will lead large, multi-site teams, driving integration, performance and service excellence while putting your own imprint on the portfolio. With several major contracts still in their infancy, there is rare scope to shape quality service models, strengthen capability and influence how community services are delivered at scale across South Australia.Success in this role will require deep sector credibility, strong external networks and the confidence to lead at system level. You will be a visible, trusted leader with government, funding bodies and peak organisations and able to balance social impact with commercial discipline, governance rigour and measurable outcomes. A seasoned, values-led human services executive with experience, you bring strategic judgement, political and commercial acumen and a leadership style that empowers others. You are equally comfortable setting direction, influencing stakeholders and translating strategy into practical, high-impact delivery.
