SEAWAY is seeking a fulltime Warehouse Manager to manage and oversee the daytoday warehouse operations, based at our Merbein location. To be successful in this position, our ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading a team, excellent planning and organisational skills, and have demonstrated skills in managing high peak seasonal demands. In addition, we are seeking candidates with experience working in the perishable freight sector so they can hit the ground running. Joining the Intermodal Merbein team will provide you: A Friendly & Inclusive CultureCollaborative and welcoming team environmentOngoing professional learning and development with personalised Career Development Plans Your Main Responsibilities: Set the standard for all team members including but not limited to OH&S, general conduct and behaviourManage staff resources including recruitment, rostering, timekeeping, overtime etc.Allocate tasks and ensure staff are appropriate trainedEnsure all paperwork, documentation and steps are completed accurately on time by operationsRegular and effective liaison with warehouse and transport teams to maintain overall site productivityOversee stock controlParticipate and sometimes run Toolbox meetingsOversee daily site operations and identify continuous improvement initiativesOversee equipment and warehouse maintenanceCustomer relationship managementDevelop and implement SOPsEnsure OH&S procedures are strictly followed at all times by staff and visitorsAssistance with special projects, reporting and general administration About You To be successful in this role, you will possess the following: Warehouse Operations Experience (at least 2-3 years), preferably in a leadership roleAdaptable and proactive in identifying creative solutions to problemsAble to delegate and lead a teamCollaborative team playerProfessional, confident communicationStrong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectivelyInnovative thinker who embraces changeAbility to selfmotivate as required How can you stand out?
