About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to support and deliver solar PV, battery (BESS), and EV charging projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role will involve system design, compliance, approvals, and commissioning support in line with WA and Australian standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and review electrical systems and installations in compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and WHS legislation Prepare, check, and approve electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation Conduct load calculations, fault level studies, protection coordination, and system sizing Manage testing, commissioning, and verification of electrical systems Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and other applicable standards Provide engineering support during construction, installation, and maintenance phases Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, DNSPs, and regulatory authorities Prepare engineering reports, compliance documentation, and as-built records Identify and manage project risks, technical issues, and cost optimization opportunities Support procurement activities, including equipment selection and technical evaluations Supervise and mentor technicians, electricians, and graduate engineers Ensure all works comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements Assist with continuous improvement, design optimization, and value engineering Desirable (Highly Regarded) CEC accreditation (Solar Design, Battery Design, Grid Connect) Experience with BESS, hybrid inverters, and EV chargers Site supervision, commissioning, or QA experience Knowledge of monitoring and energy management systems What We Offer Competitive salary and career progression Stable, long-term role in the renewable energy sector Supportive and professional team environment Ongoing training and exposure to diverse WA projects Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding company How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter via SEEK.com or email: [[email protected]] About KANAM ELECTRICAL WA PTY LTD Perth, WA, Australia This company does not have any further information provided at this time.
