Senior Accountant Public Practice Accounting Firm (Midland) Were looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Midland! If you enjoy working in public practice, like helping clients, and want to be part of a relaxed but hardworking team, this could be a great fit. This can be considered as a full time or part time role. About the Role Youll look after your own group of clients and handle the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS. Youll also be the go-to person for client questions and help guide junior staff when needed. Theres plenty of variety, and youll work closely with our partner on tax planning and advisory projects. What Youll Be Doing Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts) Answering client queries and providing clear, practical advice Supporting and mentoring junior team members Helping with tax planning and business advisory work Making sure everything is compliant and running smoothly Contributing ideas to improve how we do things What Were Looking For CA/CPA qualified or close to finishing 45+ years in public practice Solid understanding of Australian tax and accounting standards Confident communicator who enjoys working with people Someone organised, accurate, and able to work independently Comfortable using Xero, MYOB, or similar software What Youll Get A friendly, supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development Real opportunities to grow your career A modern Midland office with flexible working options Salary is competitive for the right applicant.
