1.0 FTE | Permanent | Commences February 2026 Mundaring Christian College is a thriving nondenominational, coeducational K12 school, situated in the picturesque Perth Hills across two campuses with a Primary Campus in Mundaring and Secondary Campus in Parkerville, proudly operated by Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA). We are a provider of quality Christian education, dedicated to nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of our students. We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Head of Inclusive Education to join our Secondary School team in a fulltime position commencing from February 2026. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the Secondary College Inclusive Education program, managing staff, curriculum, funding, and compliance to support inclusive and effective learning for all students. You will collaborate with College leadership, staff, families, and external partners while modelling a strong Christian faith and contributing to a supportive, Christcentred school community. This position consists of 0.8 FTE Leadership duties and 0.2 FTE Teaching duties. You will lead with purpose and conviction, sowing seeds of faith and learning that will shape lives for eternity. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead and implement inclusive education plans across the college. Manage AISWA and NCCD funding applications, budgets, and resource allocation. Supervise and develop IE staff, including the IE Administration Officer, IE Teachers, and Education Assistants. Support inclusive curriculum delivery and ensure assessment accommodations (NAPLAN, OLNA, ATAR, General). Collaborate with parents/carers, internal stakeholders, and external specialists through case management. Contribute to middle leadership, reporting to the Head of Secondary and liaising with the Business Manager. Demonstrate a committed Christian faith, actively supporting and contributing to the Christian life of the College. Align with the Associations Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives. Hold (or be eligible for) TRBWA registration with strong knowledge of the WA Curriculum and inclusive teaching practices. Show experience in Learning Support, Special Education, or Inclusive Education, including differentiation and IEP/PLP processes. Possess a strong understanding of NCCD requirements and disability legislation. Exhibit strong organisation, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, including experience coordinating staff.
