(pro-rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Location: Royal Adelaide Hospital - Adelaide CBD Multiple Positions Available, Temporary and Ongoing Options About the role As a Consultant Radiologist with SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patientcentred Medical Imaging services within a leading tertiary environment. Working closely with the Campus Clinical Head, you will contribute both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical and academic team, supporting excellence in diagnosis, teaching and research. This role offers the opportunity to provide general Medical Imaging services while building strong partnerships with referring clinicians and actively contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings that underpin coordinated, highquality patient care. You will provide professional leadership to clinical teams, supervise and mentor trainees and students, and actively participate in quality improvement, peer review and accreditation activities. With a strong focus on clinical governance, you will support timely reporting, effective communication and continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient services, including participation in afterhours oncall arrangements. The role also offers scope to engage in research, audit and innovation, contribute to policy and service development, and support the ongoing growth and academic life of SAMI, helping to ensure Medical Imaging services continue to meet the highest professional, accreditation and consumerfocused standards. About You Essential Minimum Requirements: You are a highly qualified and motivated medical specialist with a strong commitment to delivering safe, highquality and patientcentred Medical Imaging services within a collaborative healthcare environment. Qualifications & Registration: MBBS or equivalent, with appropriate specialist qualifications and Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia, in line with the SA Medical Officers Award. Clinical Expertise & Experience: Proven competence across a broad range of Medical Imaging modalities, with completion of RANZCR Phase 2 training requirements and substantial accredited experience in Clinical Radiology. Leadership, Teaching & Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to teach, supervise and mentor trainees and students, act as a professional role model, contribute to clinical audit and research, and engage in ongoing continuing medical education. Communication, Governance & Safety Focus: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capability, and a sound understanding of clinical governance, quality management, Work Health & Safety and ethical practice.
