Higher Education Officer Level 6 | $92,287 - $98,398 p.a. + 17% Superannuation View Position Description About the Role The Senior Finance Officer Payables provides supervisory functions to ensure the provision of accounts payable services. The role is also responsible for managing the daytoday operation and coordination of accounts payable and purchase card management systems, including preparing training, procedures and work instructions, and the monitoring of relevant Service One functions. About You With extensive experience within the Finance / Accounts Payable department of a large organisation, you possess welldeveloped interpersonal skills, which assist you to provide functional supervision to staff, (including task allocation and managing workloads), liaise with stakeholders and provide highlevel advice and training to stakeholders regarding all accounts payable services. To be successful in this position, you will also demonstrate: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training. Relevant or working towards professional qualification such as CA, CPA or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training. Previous experience in administration of purchasing card administration systems and software. Proven involvement working in projects and managing change within the Accounts Payable / Finance environment. About Finance and Procurement Services Finance and Procurement Services assist the University to achieve its goals by providing quality leadership, information, and financial services. The Finance and Procurement Services team undertakes monthly financial management reporting and forecasting, annual budgets and monitoring performance against these budgets, all regulatory financial reporting, monthly compliance, procurement contracting and functional areas of paying suppliers, receipting revenue and annual financial statements. While this role is based at Bedford Park, we have team members located across all of Flinders sites.
