Its HammondCare.About The RoleThe Head of Payroll oversees the fortnightly payroll of a workforce of around 6,000 team members across both salaried and hourly paid. This role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employer remuneration across all business units. This role drives operational excellence and the continuous improvement of end-to-end payroll activities, in addition to transformation initiatives within payroll, aligning with organisational goals and shared services strategy. While systems do not report directly into this role, the Head of Payroll will be a critical stakeholder for ensuring payroll requirements are scoped accuratelyStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with People & Learning, Finance, IT and other enabling functions to deliver seamless employee experienceAct as a trusted advisor on payroll matters to senior leadershipModel confidence internally and externally when it comes to payroll practicesAbout YouCommitment to engage and align with HammondCares Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in ActionDeep technical expertise in payroll and iChris payroll system and the flexibility to be hands on as well as a strategic thinkerAt least 10 years experience managing payroll in complex and large organisationsDemonstrated experience managing and supporting a teamExperience managing multiple enterprise agreements across a large workforceExceptional attention to detailStrong stakeholder engagement with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise and easily understood languageExperience with Workday, UKG and Kronos desirableExperience in healthcare, aged care or hospital settings desirableTo ApplyIf you are ready to make a difference with HammondCare, Apply Now!
